Description of the Scientific Research System

As the Guangdong international co-operation demonstration base, CEI co-operates widely in aspects of R & D, testing technologies, information services, cooperative exchange and personnel training with many enterprises all over the world.

 R & D Co-Operation：
        U.S.A.：
    The environmental technology center of CEI co-operates with AWSG for weathering test and evaluations for materials and products 
    

Germany：
    1.CEI co-operates with the Insitut fur Zuverlassigkeit und Mikrointegration (IZM) under the biggest technical research organization of Germany, Fraunhofer, in research of lead-free soldering technology and appilication.
    2. CEI co-operates with IFAM in research of waterborne coating for plastic.


        Japan：
    1. Co-operating with Japan Ohnishi, we put in bids together, share in the jobs and responsibilities during the whole procedures of design, construction and supervision, which comes to a good result.
    2. At the very beginning of building the production line of Wuyang Honda motorcycle in 1996, the design was done by Honda Japan and the construction was done by CEI. When Wuyang moved to Zengcheng in 2005, this coating line Honda was designed and constructed by CEI independently. In 2006, after knowing our capabilities, Honda Japan invited CEI engineers to Vietnam to design and construct the complete-set coating line of Honda Vietnam. From then on, CEI became the partner of Honda Japan.
    3. CEI co-operates with Japan climate testing center in the research of corrosiveness and aging technologies for materials and products.
    Dongfeng Honda Automobile Emission Testing Chamber manufactured through the co-operation between CEI and Ohnishi Netsugaku Co., Ltd.

 

  Switzerland：
    Co-operating with ABB in Switzerland, we have combined a strategic alliance to put in bid together, then CEI provides the complete-set equipment and implements engineering construction by using the key parts produced by ABB.

    Korea：
    1. Co-operating with Samwha EOCR Brand Power, introducing product prescriptions, training our staff and improving our production processing, Guangzhou Kinte Powder Coating Corporation has developed more than 10 kinds of product prescriptions, thus to set up the competitive and comprehensive industrial chain of powder coatings and resin products.
    2. CEI co-operates with KICM in the research of corrosion and aging of materials.
 

Industrial Service Co-Operation：
    CEI promotes the industrial technology improvement via technical training workshops and international seminars co-organized with relevant international organizations.

 1. CEI co-operates with German institutes for International Sino-German Lead-Free Soldering Seminar.
    

 2. CEI held the “2006 China (Guangzhou) the 4th International Conference on Eco-Design of EEE”. Both Chinese experts and foreign experts gave presentation on the conference.
    

3. CEI held the seminar of “Auto Parts Industrial Development Trend and Guangdong Enterprise Internationalization Approach” co-operating with Hong Kong Productivity Council.
         4. CEI held the “Guangdong-Mexico Auto Parts Industry Seminar” and “Mexico State Commerce and Investment Seminar” with the Consulate of Mexico and the Mexico State government.”
          5. CEI held the “European Certification and EMC Technology Seminar for Automobiles and Auto Parts” with Mira from UK
    
          6. CEI held the 4th Sino-American (International) Academic Symposium on Environmental Corrosion and Degradation Tests of Material with ATLAS of U.S.A., and held the workshop for material aging technologies with China Building Materials Academy in Hainan.
